Dear Friends and Family,

It is a pleasure to work with the families of this school. Thank you all for coming out for the community meeting on Saturday. I thought that the time was well spent and that the overall feeling was that we are moving in a positive direction. Thank you all for your input and support.

The school board will be meeting on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, to discusses changes to the school calendar, E-Zone, and the Homeschool Day. If you have further comments about any of these or other school issues please contact a board member before Tuesday’s meeting.

Staffing Needs: We are looking for people to help make CCSI the best that it can be. Please contact the school if you know of someone who would be willing to teach a class, help with event planning or simply volunteering to help out a few hours a week.

We would like to thank Midori Dedachi for volunteering to teach Kanji class on Wednesdays through March.

Tennis Schedule: February 6, 13, 20 & 27 (3:00-5:00)
Hopefully the weather will allow us to play tennis every week this month. Please remember to dress for tennis after lunch and to stretch before class.

この学校の家族皆様と共に歩める事、とてもうれしく思います。土曜日のコミュニティーミーティングにお越し下さった皆様、ありがとうございました。良い時間が持てたと思いますし、また全体を通して、私達が良い方向へと向かっていると感じました。皆様のサポートを感謝します。

2月10日火曜日の理事会で今後の年間スケジュール、E-Zone、ホームスクールについて話し合います。これらの事について、またその他学校についての意見などごさいましたら、火曜日の理事会までに理事のメンバーにお伝え下さい。

毎週水曜日３月まで、出立みどりさんが漢字を教えてくださることになりました。感謝します。

天候が守られ、今月は毎週テニスができることを期待します。昼食後、着替えて授業前にストレッチをすませておくように。
