COMMUNITY MEETING REPORT
We had a wonderful community meeting last Saturday! Thanks to all of you who came and added so much!
Attached to this newsletter is a schedule for the school year including all the events and breaks. During our meeting we discussed the various events and individually chose the ones for which we would be willing to be responsible. It was made clear that, as the responsible person, we would recruit other parents and teachers to do specific tasks, and would NOT do it all alone!
For those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to sign up for an event, we are asking you to pray and consider choosing/signing up for one or more of those that have not yet been taken. We agreed that, if there are no volunteers, we will not do that event. We also encouraged everyone to give their input about any other events you would like to see our school do. Please inform Carol about your choice(s). Thanks!!!
ALSO: We have updated our CCSI Roster with everyone’s phone/email information. Please take a look at your attached copy and make sure all the information is correct. Thank you!

BAZAAR/STREET FAIR NEWS
Please begin thinking how you might be involved with our annual bazaar preparations either by making handmade products to sell, or by offering ideas for games/booths which can be set up outside. We are hoping to both encourage knowledge of our presence in the Honda community and generate some much-needed funds for the J-track. Mrs. Ogawa, Mrs. Takeda and Mrs. Morita are the ladies to contact with your creative suggestions and any inquiries!
TALENT SHOW NEWS
Get ready for the annual talent show!!! Polish up your instrument skills! Warm up your voices! Sharpen your drama presentation! Let Hannah Iverson know what you’ll be doing. Please limit your selections to one group act, and one individual/family act each. Thanks!
TENNIS ANYONE?
Coach Daniel has offered to keep teaching tennis this spring! This month’s court times are: Friday, April 13 and 27. Thanks, coach!
FIELD TRIP ANYONE?
The elementary science class is planning a trip to Chiba Zoo this spring (probably in May), and is in need of some drivers (moms or dads) to transport and accompany them. We will need at least 3 vehicles and two additional drivers.

コミュニティミーティング報告
先週の土曜日、とても有意義なコミュニティミーティングをすることができました。参加してくださった方々に感謝を申し上げたいと思います。
今年度の休暇やイベントなどを含めたスケジュールをこのニュースレターとともにお配りします。ミーティングの中で、様々なイベントについて各々どのイベントの担当になるか話し合いを行いました。こうすることで、各イベントについてどなたに連絡を取ればよいかを明確にすることができます。担当の方がすべて行うという意味ではなく、保護者や先生に役割分担をする責任者になっていただくということです。
まだどの担当にもなっていない方がいらっしゃいましたら、祈りつつ、まだ担当の決まっていないイベントにサインしていただければ幸いです。また、どなたも担当がいらっしゃらないイベントについては、開催を中止するということでも同意しました。
もし、他の学校が行っているイベントで、この学校でも取り入れたいものがありましたら、ぜひご提案ください。このことについては、キャロルさんにご連絡ください。ありがとうございます。

バザーについて
恒例のバザーについて、手作り品の販売、屋外で行われるブースやゲームなどのアイデアなど、どのように参加することができるか考えておいてください。このバザーによって近隣の地域に学校の存在をアピールするとともに、Jトラックの経済的な必要を補うための機会になればと思っています。バザーの件に関しては、竹田さん、小川さん、守田さんにご連絡ください。
タレントショーについて
毎年恒例のタレントショーの準備をしてください！楽器のスキルに磨きをかけてください！声の準備はいいですか？演技にも磨きをかけましょう！ハンナ・アイバーソンさんに、出し物を連絡してください。出し物は、１人につきグループでの参加１つと個人又は家族での参加１つ（合計２つ）に限ります。ありがとうございます。
テニスをしませんか？
ダニエルコーチがこの春も続けてテニスを教えてくださいます。今月の日程は、４月１３日、２７日（両日とも金曜日）です。コーチ、ありがとうございます。
遠足に行きませんか？
小学生の理科のクラスでは、この春（おそらく５月頃）、千葉動物公園への遠足を予定しています。そのために、何人か運転をしてくださる方、また引率してくださる方を必要としています。少なくてもあと３台の車と、２人の運転手が必要です。お手伝いくださる方は、明子先生、またはテレサ先生にご連絡ください。ありがとうございます。
