Dear Friends and Family,

We are saddened to announce that Daiki Hayashi will not be returning to CCSI in the new year. He will be attending Koyatsu Elementary school in Chiba. Please pray that he will have a smooth transition to his new school.

Kakizome Taikai: (1/10/2009) A copy of the Kakizome Taikai flyer is attached. Please give a copy to your friends and family and encourage them to come and enjoy the morning with us. We will be having calligraphy practice and competition as well as having Oshiruko (a Japanese sweet soup). It starts at 10 am.

Staffing Needs: We are still looking for a new Kanji teacher. Please contact the school if you know of someone who would be willing to teach these classes. We are also looking for a teacher for the Tuesday elementary PE class. The class meets from 2:00-3:00 and has 14 students in grades 1-4. We ask for patience and flexibility as we work to find a solution to these staffing needs.

E-Zone: The next E-Zone will be on January 30, 2009.

CCSI ご家族の皆様

残念ながら、林大希君が今学期からCCSIへは在学されず、千葉市の小谷小学校へ転校されます。彼が新しい学校へ早く慣れる事が出来るようお祈りください。

書き初め大会: (1/10/2009)書き初め大会のチラシを一緒にお送りいたします。お友達やご家族の方々をお誘いの上、是非お越し下さい。書き初めの練習、コンクール、そして、おしるこを食べます。10時スタート。

スタッフ募集：新しい漢字の先生を探しています。もし、皆様のお知り合いの方で、このクラスを教えてくださる方がいらっしゃいましたら、お知らせ下さい。また、火曜日の体育の先生も探しています。このクラスは、2:00–3:00の授業で、1年生から4年生までの14人の生徒が参加しています。解決策を模索している間、皆様も忍耐と柔軟性をもって、対応してくださるようよろしくお願いいたします。

E-Zone:次回のE-Zoneは2009年1月30日です。
