BAZAAR/STREET FAIR NEWS

Thank you to all who are willing to help with preparation and set up! Please meet at the school at 8am to prepare.  For those involved in the cooking/handling of food, be sure your hair is either tied back or covered with a scarf.  Thank you.

TALENT SHOW NEWS

Get ready for the annual talent show!!!  Polish up your instrument skills!  Warm up your voices!  Sharpen your drama presentation!  Let Hannah Iverson know what you’ll be doing.  Please limit your selections to one group act, and one individual/family act each.  

The show is from 7-8:30, followed by a dessert reception.  We would like to ask parents to bring at least one dessert to serve 20 people, please. 

We will gather for rehearsal at 5:30 for quick run-through and sound/microphone check.  We will prepare a simple meal for the students; please contribute 250 yen/child.

GRADUATION

This year’s graduating high school class is our largest ever - four seniors!!  Additionally, two E-track sixth graders will graduate to middle school.  We will be celebrating God’s goodness with a ceremony and sit-down dinner.  All the CCSI community, friends and family of the graduates are invited.  Please join us from 6-8pm, Saturday, June 16.  This will be a semi-formal event, so kindly dress appropriately.  Thank you!

SHOW YOUR FACE...OR NOT

As we update our school website for the purpose of advertising, we would like to ask permission from all the parents to display photographs of your child(ren).  If you do not want your child’s face to be displayed on the website, please inform the school by Friday, June 8.  Thank you.

FARE THEE WELL

We will be saying goodbye to interns Mary Beth and Kathryn on Friday, June 15, from 5:30pm, at the education bldg. (they leave Japan 6/17).  Please come for okonomiyaki and bring one other traditional Japanese dish with which to help the interns remember the good food (and fellowship) of Japan.  Please let Carol know if you can come so we can plan accordingly.  Thank you!

バザーについて

お手伝いくださっている方々に感謝いたします。当日、お手伝いくださる方は８時に学校に集合してください。また、お料理をしてくださる方、またそれに携わる方は必ず髪を後ろで結わくか三角布で髪を覆うようにしてください。ありがとうございます。

タレントショーについて

毎年恒例のタレントショーの準備をしてください！楽器のスキルに磨きをかけてください！声の準備はいいですか？演技にも磨きをかけましょう！ハンナ・アイバーソンさんに、出し物を連絡してください。出し物は、１人につきグループでの参加１つと個人又は家族での参加１つ（合計２つ）に限ります。ショーは７時から８時半です。その後にデザートレセプションがあります。２０人くらいが食べられるデザートの用意を各ご家庭にお願いしたいと思います。５時３０分くらいに集合し、簡単なリハーサルとマイクや音のチェックを行います。生徒には簡単な夕食を用意しますので、１人２５０円お持ちください。

卒業式について

今年は、今までで最高の人数の生徒が高校を卒業します！なんと4人も！加えて、２人のEトラックの小学生も中学校へと進むことになります。卒業式と晩餐会を通して、神様のよきものを祝いたいと思います。CCSIコミュニティ、卒業生のお友達やご家族はすべて招待されています。６月１６日６時から８時の式にご参加ください。この式は、セミフォーマルのイベントになります。服装はそれに順ずるものでお願いいたします。ありがとうございます。

お顔を出してもいいですか？

校外に情報公開するために学校のウェブサイトをアップデイトする際に、お子さん達のお顔が映った写真を掲載しても良いか一人ひとりの保護者に許可を頂きたいと思っています。お子さんのお顔の掲載を希望されない場合は、６月８日までに学校へ申し出てください。ありがとうございます。

さよなら

インターンとして来日していたメアリーベスさんとキャサリンさんのさよならパーティを、教育館で６月１５日５時３０分から行いたいと思います。（彼女達は６月１７日に出発します）。お好み焼きを食べ、そして彼女達が日本のおいしい食事を覚えておいてくれるよう、（良い交わりの時となるよう）、一人一品ずつ日本食を何かお持ちください。来られる方は、キャロルさんにお知らせください。
