Dear CCSI Families

Welcome back!
We the staff at CCSI are very excited to be back from break. It’s an exciting time as we enter the 4th year of our Japanese track. We’re pleased to share that we have three new students joining our community. Please make DaSol Kim (5th), Noah Koshiba (1st), & Jodai Takeda (1st) feel welcome.

Entrance Ceremony:
When: Saturday, April 11, 2009, 10:00-11:30 Where: Honda Chapel
Dress: Polo shirt, kaki pants/skirt
Who: all students & Parents
Refreshments: Parents, please bring one of the following (enough for 10 people) to share at a simple reception:
1) fruit
2) coffee cake or pastry 3) muffins

New students are asked to come to the chapel at 9:40 for practice.
This year we’re modifying our ceremony to reflect the culture of our school. It’s our prayer that those who come will be ministered to.

New Headmaster:
Kevin Dingle has been named the new Headmaster. Please be praying for him as he transitions into his new roles.

Class Schedules:
With us operating with 1 less teacher and adding an additional day for the elementary students. We’ve made some changes to the day to day class schedule.

Dress Down Day:
The last Friday of each month will be dress down day. Students are expected to follow the school dress code all other days.

おかえりなさい
私たちCCSIのスタッフは、春休みが終わりこの新しい学期の始まりをうれしく思っています。日本語部が4年目に入ったことも大変うれしいことです。私たちのコミュニティーに３人の新しい生徒が加わりました。金多率キム・タソルさん(５年生）、小柴　海亜くん（１年生）、竹田　誠大くん（１年生）を歓迎します。

入学式：
時：　　４月１１日　１０：００–１１：３０
場所：　誉田チャペル
服装：　ポロシャツ、カーキパンツ／スカート
参加者： 全校生徒＆両親

茶菓：各家庭下記から一品選び、お持ち下さるようお願いします。(10人分位）
１）フルーツ
２）コーヒーケーキまたはペストリー
３）マフィン

新入生は入学式の練習を行いますので、朝９：４０までに誉田チャペルへお越し下さい。
今年の入学式は当校の特徴を反映させるものへと少し変更しました。入学式へお越しくださる方々が導かれるようお祈りください。

新しい校長先生：
ケビン・ディングル先生が新しい校長先生になりました。新しい職務に早く慣れることができるよう、お祈りください。

スケジュール：
先生が一人減り、また小学生の生徒は授業日が一日増えた事にともない、日々の授業スケジュールにいくつかの変化が生じてきます。

ドレスダウンディ：
毎月最後の金曜日はドレスダウンディとします。その他の日は通常のドレスコードで登校してきてください。
