Dear CCSI Families

Parent Conferences: (Second Notice)
As we come to the end of the quarter, the CCSI teachers would like schedule parent/teacher conferences. Please contact your child’s teacher to schedule a convenient time to meet. (We would like to schedule 30 minute conferences on the following days: March 17-19, 2009, from 3:30-5:00)

High School Ski Trip:
The Dan Iverson sponsored High School Ski Trip will be held on March 16th & 17th. Those involved will be traveling to Nojiri by van for two days of fun, fellowship and skiing. Thank you Dan! (Cost and Schedule to follow.) If you have not registered your student for the trip, please contact Dan directly.

Tuesday Devotional Leader: (3/17/2009) Pitz Family

E-Zone Schedule: March 13, 2009
The final E-Zone will be held on March 13, 2009. On this day, we will celebrate the countries of the world. Students are asked to dress in clothes from around the world and to participate in a potluck lunch by bringing a dish from another country to share with everyone. All grades will participate and each family is asked to bring a main dish. Also, since we all love dessert, families may send a dessert in addition to a main dish. The elementary grades will be dismissed at 1pm.

Tennis Schedule: March 13th.
On the 13th, tennis will be held at Furuichiba. Coach Daniel will be having a doubles tennis tournament. Lunch will be served at 11:30 on Friday so that the afternoon schedule can be pushed back by 30 minutes. Tennis will therefore start at 2:30 this week. Please remember to dress for tennis after lunch and to stretch before class. (2:30-5:00)

Elementary Science:
Thank you to the Hirohashi’s for sending the film canister to school this week. Unfortunately, our rocket experiment was not a success.

Prayer Needs:
Please pray for the coming school year for the Japanese Track. Continue to pray that God would continue to provide the teachers, finances and students needed to run this school. Thank you.

Lara Promnitz-Hayashi
CCSI would like to welcome Lara Hayashi. Lara is a friend of Liz Kuwahara who is doing a 10 day practicum here at CCSI. She is studying to be an elementary teacher.

保護者面談：
学期終了も間近になり、CCSI教師は保護者の皆様との時間を持ちたいと思っています。お子さんの担任の教師と話し合い、ご都合の良い時間をお決め下さい。(面談は　3月17−19日3:30-5:00まで。時間は30分でお願いします。）

高校生スキー旅行：
3月16、17日にダン・アイバーソンさんがスキー旅行へ連れていって下さる事になりました。車で野尻湖まで行き、2日間スキーをしたり共に楽しい時間を過ごす予定です。ダンさんありがとうございます。(料金、スケジュールは後日お知らせ致します。）

火曜日ディボーション リーダー： (3/17/2009) ピッツ家

E-Zone:3月13日
3月13日が最後のE-Zoneです。この日は、世界の様々な国を覚えてお祝いします。その日は、各生徒は好きな国の衣装を着、E-Zone後ポットラックランチの時を持ちます。全学年参加となりますので各家庭、好きな国のメインディッシュを一品持って来て下さい。みんなデザートが大好きな様なので、メインディッシュ一品とデザートを持って来ても良いです。小学部は午後1時に下校となります。

テニススケジュール:3月13日
13日のテニスは古市場で行います。ダブルスのテニストーナメントを行う予定です。金曜日は11:30からお昼を食べるので、その後のスケジュールが30分早くなります。ですので、テニスは2:30から始まります。授業前に着替え、ストレッチをすませておくように。(2:30–5:00）

小学部理科：
広橋さんがフィルムケースを持って来てくださり、感謝です。しかし残念な事に、ロケットの実験は成功しませんでした。

祈りの課題：
日本語部の来年度のためにお祈り下さい。神様がこの学校を運営するための先生、生徒、資金を与えて下さるよう、引き続きお祈り下さい。

ラーラ・プロムニッズ林さん
ラーラ・林さん、CCSIへようこそ！ラーラさんは桑原リズさんのお友達で、10日間 教育実習 ためCCSIに来ています。今、小学校教師になるための勉強をさています。
