PRAYER NEEDS
The Dedachi’s are waiting for the results of Midori’s father’s surgery; Akiko Kunii’s mother is still in the hospital trying to get stronger so she can have surgery. Please continue to pray for both of them.
TAKING A BREAK
Due to Akiko sensei’s need to support her mother during her illness, she has recently been unable to teach. Kumiko sensei has carried double responsibility for a few weeks, and in order to give her a rest, CCSI will take a break from regular classes this Thursday and Friday (Feb 6 and 7). Assignments for home schooling will be sent home with your student. Miss Karner and Taylor will be at the school during school hours for anyone wishing to do independent study here (and maybe some extra tutoring in English!), however, there will be no formal classes. Please let Miss Karner know if you wish to send your student here. Thank you.
TRASH/ GARBAGE: Such wonderful cooperation!
Everyone is really pitching in to keep our trash volume down. Let’s continue to be good stewards and bring all our lunch trash home, especially the packaging for quick lunches like “Cup Ramen.” We appreciate your cooperation!
INFLUENZA POLICY
Here’s the skinny:
Have your child tested quickly after symptoms appear.
Keep your child home for an additional 48 hours after the fever has gone down and the doctor issues an OK.
If one child is home with the flu, please have any siblings attending CCSI wear masks during school in order to protect other students.
Let’s also all observe good health habits. Let’s wash our hands thoroughly, get a good night’s rest and eat healthy foods.
And remember: Vicks on your feet, might make your sleep sweet, by damping your cough, but - don’t take your socks off! :) Eucalyptus oil also helps.

Grab your calendars and make a note: your turn to do a parent-led devotion is right around the corner! If Tuesdays are not good for your schedule, or that particular date will not work for you, please let us know and we’ll work together to change our usual schedule. Since we need the last 5 minutes to make announcements and allow time to prepare for first period, please plan to wind up by 8:50; this will allow for about a 10 minute devotion.

祈りの課題
出立家では美登里さんのお父さんの手術の結果を待っている所です。明子先生のお母様は手術を受けるだけの力をつけるためまだ病院に入院中です。お二人の為にお祈り下さい。
学校がお休み
明子先生はお母さんが入院中のため学校の業務を行う事が困難になっています。そのため、久美子先生がこの何週間か一人で授業の責任を負って来ました。先生がお休み出来るように、CCSIは通常の授業を木曜日と金曜日（６日、7日）休止する事となりました。生徒達にホームスクールのための課題を持たせます。教育館にはカーナー先生とテイラー先生がいますので、学校で先生達と一緒に学習を（英語の授業も可）したい子がいましたらお越し下さい。通常の授業はありません。学校にお子さんを預けたい方がいらっしゃいましたらカーナーさ先生までご連絡下さい。ありがとうございます。
ごみ捨て：最高の団結力！
みんなゴミの節約に慣れて来ています。カップラーメンなどのお昼ご飯のゴミは忘れずに持って返りましょう。皆さんのご協力感謝します！
インフルエンザ
学校のインフルエンザに関するポリシーをお忘れなく：
ご両親の皆様には子ども達に症状が出てき始めたらすぐに確認し、熱が下がってから４８時間は家に待機させるようにしたうえで、お医者さんの了解を得て登校して下さい。
もし一人のお子さんがインフルエンザで他に兄弟で学校に来ている子がいましたら、CCSIの他の生徒達を守るため、マスクをつけさせるように指導して下さい。
全員：入念な手洗い、健康的な睡眠と食事を心がけるようにお願いします。
ビックスヴェボラップまたはユーカリオイル精油を足の下につけて、温かい靴下をはくと夜間の咳に効きます。

記憶が定かなうちにカレンダーの予定表に予定を書いておいて下さい。皆さんのデボーションの番はもうすぐです！もし火曜日で都合の合わない方がいらっしゃいましたら、連絡して下されば学校の方のスケジュールを都合のいい曜日に変更します。デボーションはアナウンスと次のクラスの準備の為８：５０には終わりになりますので１０分ほどのメッセージをお願いします。
